Early 20th C J.A. Henckels carving fork with forged carbon steel tines, large folding guard with groove for knife rest, nickel ferrule and horn handle. The old pattern fork has the old style wide twins marking.
This fork has been separated from it’s knife and steel some time ago but if you need a fork this has a lot of charm. Horn has a crack but is secure, priced accordingly.
Like all other culinary knives this should never go in the dishwasher, carving knife handles will come loose with high heat (dishwasher, stove top etc), carbon steel can rust if left wet or dirty, expect a patina to form with use.ย
