Chromium oxide & hard green silicon carbide abrasive paste in a 50ml size bottle.
Progressive gradient sub micron to several micron blend Japanese made chromium oxide and sub micron to several micron gradient hard green silicon carbide (9.4 on 1-10 mohs scale) in a water based paste.
Easier to apply than hard bars made for buffing wheels and at a much richer concentration than bars or watery solutions. The base mix of chromium oxide has variety of abrasive particles formulated for the sole purpose of deburring steel and the addition of silicon carbide as a harder material is capable of breaking down burrs from coarser grinds and is less expensive than other harder abrasives like boron carbide and diamond.
This is a cost effective way to quickly deburr steels with medium coarse ground edges finished from 800 up to approx. 3000 grit. Silicon carbide is more friable than boron carbide or diamond so its working life is a little shorter but is still an effective compound for deburring toothier finished edges as well as being able to bring back flagging edges.
